The Benefits of Colon Cleansing
Most of us have at one time or another experienced constipation and/or diarrhea. These troublesome common conditions affect millions of people each year, causing problems such as as bloating, abdominal pain, discomfort, and nausea. Yet despite the frequency of these conditions, they are often very easy to treat and prevent. Maintaining the health of your colon can help to significantly improve overall health and limit the occurrence of most intestinal discomforts. Bowel movements are the basis of your health. If you don't have at least 1 full bowel movement per day, you are really working your way toward disease. The refined sugar, white flour, hormone/antibiotics-filled meats we put into our stomachs are really an assault
on our bodies. We are continuously violating our bodies by eating the most awful foods. No wonder colon
cancer is the 2nd leading cause of cancer deaths in the U.S. So, eventually, all toxins, congestion and
poisons need to be removed, and the cleansing of the colon is the starting point.

Pot Guts, Overweight, Obesity, Digestion, Colon & Your Large Intestine
Poor digestion plays a major role in accumulating excess body weight and waist measurement. Without optimal digestion we set the stage for thousands, perhaps millions of negative chemical reactions, not the least of which is the back up of mucous and "sludge" in our lungs. The pot gut seems to be fatty tissue but in reality is also an area for storing massive amounts of toxic debris. Men over 40 inches and women over 35 inches waist size show clear signs of auto intoxication. Many organs, including the stomach are forced into abnormal positions and sizes. The transverse colon droops and collects biophysical "trash". Nutrients cannot be absorbed through the intestinal walls because they are blocked with ,junk and hardened mucous. Fungus is better able too invade, sustain and transform into parasites, within the body. Intestinal diseases, including polyps, are most often symptoms of a polluted colon, massive amounts of parasites and thriving unhealthy bacteria. Toxins back up into kidneys, liver, lungs and brain. What to do? Handle the digestion, exercise, use an internal cleanser and increase your percentage of raw living foods to at least 75% making sure that the majority is not rich and excessively fat-bearing.

Where We Are Today
by, Michael Volchok
Blessed Herbs has allowed us to keep our family together. We home schooled four children, ran the business and grew in our love for one another and for our Creator. It has been a blessing in our lives and in the lives of our employees and their families. We maintain a loving and caring atmosphere at work. No games, no head trips, just genuine concern for the well-being of one another and also for our customers.
It may not always appear that the customer is "always right" but we work our darnedest to keep a positive, helpful and non-judgemental attitude when the going gets rough. None of us are perfect and sometimes life does feel a little heavier than at other times. Let's work a little harder to recognize that we all share the same burdens and ups and downs and not be so hard on ourselves or one another. What did the Beatles say, "Love, love, love." Easier said than done, but let's put our actions where our words are. Don't get me wrong, please. I am as very much in need of transformation as the next person. Let's work together.
Martha and I have been watching over the development of Blessed Herbs for almost 20 years. It has been an exciting and intense experience and we have always been very grateful for the chance to "do our own thing" and work in a field where you can feel good about what you do.
When you own your own business, it is a 24/7/365 deal as they say. We definitely have started to slow down a little and those treks through the fields and woods looking for just the right plant with the hopes we'd stumble onto something we'd never seen before, are getting a little more difficult to manage. Martha still spends hours a day doing the herbal research and I sometimes hardly have a life outside of the office, working to stay on top of our good herb sources and just managing the day to day responsibilites. Basically, we were getting a little pooped out when our youngest son, Shalom (who has always worked alongside us from the beginning) decided he wanted to dedicate himself to continuing the work of Blessed Herbs. He not only wants to see the high quality and integrity which has been laid down continue, but has eyes to the future to insure that the legacy of this company continues. Blessed Herbs will continue to be one of the best resources for all your herbal needs.
Currently we continue to develop our overall cleansing program we call "Desire for Health" and are recreating our website to be more user friendly, offering even more questions and answers to guide you along your individual healing path. Martha and I will still be here working alongside everyone, and always invite your questions, comments and concerns. You are all part of our extended family. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts.
